Helping broadcasters when they need it most
Let's Start 2023 by Thanking YOU for Your Support of Broadcasters in Need Last Year
Happy New Year! We are beyond grateful for your support of the Broadcasters Foundation of America in 2022. The grants we award are critical to helping fellow broadcasters in need survive. Because of you, the BFOA awarded more than $2 million in monthly and one-time emergency grants last year, and with you on our team we can provide even more game-changing assistance in the future. Please visit our website to learn more about upcoming news and events as well as how you may support our mission. Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2023!

With your help and support of less fortunate co-workers across the broadcast industry, our inaugural Radio and TV Giving Days raised a combined $60k. “We need to make sure everyone working in radio and tv stations across America is aware of what we do,” said Tim McCarthy, President of the Broadcasters Foundation. “It’s a tragedy to think that one of our colleagues in need might qualify for aid but doesn’t know about us. Second annual events are being planned for 2023.
Former BFOA President Jim Thompson was posthumously inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in November. Thompson passed away last August after a lengthy battle with cancer. His unwavering dedication and commitment to the Foundation continues to drive the BFOA team to help those in need. Full story is here.
